Here goes another try to get his recital with sound.

So there are tons of pictures...but I wanted to document some of the stuff we did over this past Christmas season. And they are backwards.
Abs got clothes and toys, and plenty of each, but her favorite is this little doll her brothers gave her and this box. She LOVES sitting in this box. Or any box. And hitting them. Too much fun. She did get two strollers and loves pushing them around the house as well. All while growling of course.
We made plenty of treats, and Abby was always willing to clean the cookie dough off the spatula for me. What a good kid!
This is Christmas morning. We were lucky enough to have the Edge's over. Reed is reading their new favorite book "Battle Bunny" to them. They are all loving it. Willie got a kindle (an old refurbished one) and he didn't really know what it was, so he wasn't very excited. After having it for a few days though, he is pretty excited. He likes it a lot. Sammy got a new bike because he is growing too stinkin' fast and his other bike is too small. Mikey got power rangers. That's all he wanted. I bet he has lost both of them though.
Here is Mikey in the car in his new clothes. We were on our way down to Grandma and Grandpa Edge's house. Christmas morning tuckered him all out. He just looks so old.
Only Grandma can keep all ten grandchildren's attention. Especially on Christmas morning. She was telling them stories about toys that she got when she was a kid.
Once again, Abs favorite thing to play with was a box. She sat and played drums on that box for a long time.
This is from Christmas Eve. We were making ornaments. We colored on a plastic cup, then melted them in the oven. They flattened into a disc then we glued a ribbon on them and hung them on the tree. They didn't turn out exactly as planned, but were still fun to do.
This picture is from Christmas night. Emily got Grandma and Grandpa some awesome puppets. Some of the kids are putting on a puppet show for the younger kids. Looking at those faces, it must have been a pretty good show!
This is our entry way on Christmas. I had to take a picture because I love that we had family over and that we had the chance to spend some time with them and go play outside a little too.
We went and saw the lights at temple square. This is the only picture I got. We went and did a tour of the beehive home and I think the boys (especially Willie) had a fun time. I think Mikey liked it the best because it was warm.
The next four pictures are of our annual train decorating. We got to do it with the Tanner families this year. It was a lot of fun and I think the were all impressed (and a little jealous) of our train decorating abilities.
I don't think Wes even tried any candy or frosting the whole night!
This is what a train looks like when you don't have a 1, 3,5 and 7 year old decorating it. (Which means it's totally not even as fun:)
Every year we have dinner by the Christmas tree. Which is one of my boys favorite traditions. I make them whatever they want. They requested "boy" cheese (as opposed to girl cheese) and fruit. Love it! It's too easy to make their day!
This awful picture is from the live nativity in Nibley. It is fun to go and see. They have live animals and a camel and a hay ride to go on. It is all a fundraiser for the food pantry. Pretty cool. And hot chocolate and fires to stand by. They boys had a lot of fun there too. And they kept wanting to go back to pet the donkey one more time.
And Willie had his Christmas piano recital. He played jingle bells and did a great job. He was a little nervous at first when he heard the first couple of kids go (who were pretty darn good) But when he heard two other kids play his exact same song, he got much less nervous. Look how handsome my boy is!

This year we went up to the cabin for New Years. It was a lot of fun and noise. The kiddos had a lot of fun playing with their cousins and Grandma and Grandpa. We drove to the fire station and walked the mile in to the cabin. Grandma and Collette made lots of good food and we played a few fun games, but mostly enjoyed the clean air and being outside.
Abs got hauled up in the sled and was super cute.
Here are a few pictures of the kids sledding and skiing. Thanks Poppy for letting the boys play on your skis. Sorry Willie-I didn't get any pictures of you skiing or sledding. I don't know how that happened!
