Trooper

Today Willie, Sammy and I went for the hike.  I took Sammy in the backpack and Willie was on his own.  We went to the Wind Caves.  (the link doesn't say it, but it is a fairly steep trail-1000 feet above the highway)  I thought we'd walk for about half an hour, turn around and go back.  Willie had something else in mind.  He was determined to make it to the caves.  It took us about 3 hours, round trip, but we made it the whole way.  It is almost 2 miles each way.  I was very impressed.  He got tired on the way down, but we made it.  

We came home, ate lunch, and he and Sammy hit the sack.  About 30 minutes later, Willie woke up in a puddle of puke.  Poor guy.  What a trooper though!
