PB&J

So yesterday, Willie had his first PB&J and it was great! It is nice to know that we can add that to our list of lunches.
(For those of you who don't know, Reed is allergic to nuts, so we have not given Willie any peanut butter or anything until now! Happy Day:)

YES! PB&J is essential for those first years of life.

In celebration I googled his favorite book and found this game. I couldn't get it to work but maybe you'll have more luck...

Essential for the first years of life? I'm younger than I thought!

Congrats on the pb&j. Hopefully now, he doesn't give daddy a great big kiss!
Oscar on the other hand is NOT allergic and hates pb. Go figure.

I was going to hold off on PB until cate was three (I tested allergic, reed - of course, nothing like you, but still made me nervous for the kids). when she was 18 months, she stayed at my parents. Apparently I forgot to mention it to my mom. when I got back from my weekend away (they took care of cate) my mom said, "cate was great and she ate her whole PB&J sandwich!" I was glad they didn't have to take a trip to the ER...but also glad to know she could eat it. yea for will!!!! and good job holding off!
