A few things I have learned from my mom:
To cure a headache, go for a jog
People are more important than things
Gardening and working in the dirt is fun and good for you
Play time is very important-more so than getting the bathrooms cleaned or the kitchen swept. That can wait. Kids grow up too fast!
Being in nature is the best place to be to feel close to God
It's ok to get dirty
Exercies and taking care of your body is important
Responsibility- if you are going to miss something or be late, let somebody know!
Punctuality- don't be late
Sewing is easiest when mom is around..."So Mom, I bought this pattern, and I don't think I know how to do the zipper. Will you 'show' me how?"
Always show appreciation and gratitude-whether it be through a card or a quilt
Work ethic
Family meals are important- even if not everybody is at the table, it is nice to have a meal cooked by mom.
She is not a "real" mom-thank goodness.
Thanks mom. We love you.
Here are some more pictures of Will to enjoy.

I'm glad you think your mother taught you those things but most of them you taught yourself. I love Willey's pictures, he starting to look older every time I see him. Thanks for calling often and being a good daughter. Love Mom
You really put into words well, all of the things we all love about our Momma Edge. Thanks for putting it so elequently!
Thanks, Momma Edge is the best! I hope I can be a "real" mom just like she is.
Hey this your blog site looks great! Thanks for telling me about it. I'll definitely check in on you from time to time and even consider starting one up. Hope all is well. Eleshia
