Athena

So Reed and I signed up for a half marathon in May. I know this is no big deal for the Edge's up north, or the Harward's down south but for some of us, running 13 miles is a big deal. As I was registering, there was a place to check if you are a Clydesdale or Athena. It directed you to check the Clydesdale box if you are a male weighing over 200 pounds; the Athena box if you are a female weighing over 150 pounds. Well, I am officially an Athena, whatever that means. Maybe there are special prizes for those of us who are "larger". Well, now that I have told everyone that I am running in a half marathon, I guess I have to do it. Maybe I should go lace up those running shoes...

Yeah for the Athena!!!! Thats awesome! When is the half marathon you are doing? I think is is so fun to run with your spouse it is an outlet for both of you and you both get great benefits from it.
Just think if you are angry at your spouse and you are on a training run together...you could just pick up the pace a bit and at the end you will have exausted yourself and punished your spouse and all will be well again...(not saying I ever do this but, its a good idea.)

Yeah--i remember running in runs--I couldn't consider them races, as I did not "race". I was a clyde before they had the classification. And I still am a clydesdale...OK, time to stop horsing around.

He he.

I am an Athena too.

Is that bad?

Muscle is pretty dense, after all...

Sounds like fun, and work. Maybe I'll sign up for one. I did run a whole mile yesterday...lol. Hey, you always pushed me to run harder in high school soccer. you'll do great. Just make your spouse push the stroller.
