Boy or Girl?Yes, it has happened again. This happens all over the place, shopping centers (SAM's especially), restaurants, church, grocery stores... It happens over and again. Will has been referred to as a "she." "Oh, she's so sweet!", "Oh, she has the cutest smile!", "Would she like a drink too?", "How old is she?" We decided that he is just a pretty baby, or maybe you just can't tell. I guess I probably couldn't tell if he weren't my baby. Although, the blue that he usually wears might give it away. When it happens, I don't really know what to do. I usually just pretend like I didn't hear it, or that he really is a girl. Sorry Will! His dad usually makes a comment back, correcting them subtley. Something like, "He is 8 months, good ol' Will."

Ha ha ha! I can see that. I know that Will's a boy, but still...I can see people making a simple mistake. He is a BEAUTIFUL baby, and since he is so GORGEOUS, some people assume a boy can't be that pretty...so she must be a girl!
You could probably put a blue elastic thingy around her head. People then would for sure see the blue and wonder-is it a boy or a girl. Since they wouldn't know for certain they would probably call Will an It. Something like "O my, isn't that It so sweet. If they are smart they would say as Granpa Kayser might say-Now there is a baby! Anywho its better than being an Other
Megs--Will definatly looks like a boy. I don't see how anyone mistakes him for a her.

Even when Poppy is completly covered in PINK...they still think she is a girl!! I think it is because they really are only interested in small talk and are only commenting on the baby becasue they feel obligated and really haven't looked closely. Besides Willy is cute!!! And as Oscar would say "Boys only say cool, not girls...girls say cute!"

At least the comments given on Will are flattering. People usually just ask how old Micah is and then look amazed. "Look at that baby!" I can see them thinking. "His Dad must play for the New York Giants for him to be of such size." Micah just doesn't fall in the cute or cool category right now. He is all about the 'big baby' comments.
But back to Will, there is no way that mover and shaker could ever be mistaken for a girl. These strangers ought to see him doing his floor exercises!
